Immunisation (Baby) clinic
Every Thursday between 10:00 - 12:00 ( Appointment only at present due to COVID 19)
PLEASE remember to bring your child's red book to allow us to record any data such as immunisations.
The immunisations are done as a 'drop in' clinic. Please book in at reception from 10am and you will be called through in turn and seen by the Practice Nurse. Please be aware that there may be a wait.
This is a WELL BABY clinic in order to prevent the unnecessary spread of infection. Please do not bring sick children to this clinic. If your child needs to see a GP please make an appointment at the front desk in the usual way.
The Doctor will perform all the 8 week baby checks by booked appointment and cover the clinic regarding any problems requiring medical advice.
The Practice Nurse will perform all the required immunisations.
Please click here for the latest immunisation schedules.
We actively encourage the full course of immunisations so if you are unable to make this clinic, please make an appointment with a Practice nurse within normal surgery times.
We encourage all asthmatic patients to be responsible for their own condition and will assist with information on self-management. All active asthmatics are invited to attend the surgery at least once a year to assess their symptoms. Our practice nurses will monitor your asthma and agree a management plan which may include changes in medication or inhaler device.
Please bring all your current inhalers/spacer devices to your appointment.

These clinics are run by our nurses and an appointment will be sent out around your birthday month. Routine blood tests are arranged approximately one week prior to your appointment so a full review can take place with the nurse. This will usually take 1/2 an hour.
The nurse will advise if you need to be seen by a GP.
You will also have a 6 monthly blood test (HbA1c) to monitor your diabetes between annual reviews. This is done at an appointment with the Assistant Practioner who will also check your weight and blood pressure.
The Diabetes clinic is extremely well run by our practice nurses and few of our patients require hospital reviews. If you have any concerns regarding your diabetes outwith the annual review then please make an appointment with one of the nurses who will be happy to advise you.
The Practice has access to specialist diabetic podiatrists for any foot complaints and community dieticians for further dietary and weight management issues.
